Sam, thankyou for inviting me to join you and your lovely diamonds for the weekend in Old Colwyn North Wales. As a newbie, I was apprenhensive about going away with a group of ladies that I hadn’t met before but oh my, I was welcomed with open arms and felt like I’d always known them. I am taking away far more than I could have imagined, support, empathy, and friendship. The weekend ran like clockwork, activities that you organised were informative and fun. I haven’t laughed so much for a long time and it was well overdue. A ‘safe’ place to talk and share knowing that everyone with you understands and ‘gets it’. If anyone gets the opportunity to go on one of these weekends, don’t hesitate, you will leave a lot ‘lighter’ than when you arrived!
Thanks Sam! xx
This is the best group of ladies who understand EVERYTHING you are going through when you are ill and AFTER during recovery. It is for all types of cancer (I had head and neck) and found the support from this group priceless. You can be part of the online chats and even meet up face to face for a coffee. Most of all, you feel that you have someone who understands and can give good advice.
Where to start!!!!!!
Sam and the ladies make life bearable after a cancer diagnosis, but more than that, they envelope you in a blanket in the first weeks and then lift you out of yourself with love and laughter.
Sams Diamonds is my go-to every day. Fully immerse yourself to get the best from the group.
Lots of events, advise, meetings, fun things, a shoulder on the bad days and banter and laughter on the good. This group is a ray of sunshine and one not to be missed.
A great group of ladies who are there for moral support, to give great advice when you have a problem/are worried and to cheer you up when you’re just having a bad day. Regular meet-ups are good fun and I’ve done done all kinds of activities I never dreamed I would do in a million years.
